Wooden Meranti Garage Doors
The Wooden Sectional garage doors are made from either Meranti or Saligna Wood. These doors are fast loosing their popularity because of the continuous maintenance required on them. They have to be oiled or varnished regularly or the wood tends to crack when the oil is absorbed by the sun. They are not very friendly to water as is the case with the steel doors.
Available for Single and Double garage door openings with or without windows or can be made to custom sizes.

The following are Important dimensions required for your garage doors. Once you have taken the measurements you can order your garagedoor online for self installation or contact us for some helpfull advise on the best door for your needs. We also do installations in the Gauteng area.

ALL MEASUREMENTS TAKEN FROM INSIDE LOOKING OUT
Single Door: 2440mm Brick to Brick width of opening.
Double Door: 4880 mm Brick to Brick width of opening
All Doors: 2100mm Maximum height from floor to underside of lintel
250mm Minimum side room clearance (Clear space on the side pillars)
400mm Minimum headroom from underside of lintel to lowest point of ceiling.
Note: This measurement must be the same throughout the length of the garage. Check for obstructions, beams or sloping ceilings. Sloping ceilings take this measurement at the lowest point of slope in the ceiling.
